19th November is truly one of the most memorable episodes in SBR-Technologies when all the employees unfurled their wings to delve into boundless mirth and euphoria. 19th November was the day when SBR-ians headed for the Annual Office Picnic!

No denying, the buzz of the event was there in the air and when the date finally arrived, it was the time to sway in the happy fest. The date and the venue were announced verbally a week before and the official e-mail soon followed and the eager minds to a different level. There were varying discussions on the context, there were planning, there were game strategies and to be frank, there were tensions over inebriety!!

The main attraction of SBR Office Picnic was undoubtedly the Cricket Match! The lottery decided the team’s squad with Operations Manager Mr. Souvik Mukherjee captaining one side and Asst. Operations Manager Mr. Santanu Ganguly, leading the other. The bus arrived at 7:30 am at Ultadanga and the eager souls got into the carriage without delay. Some of the employees boarded en route and the SBR team reached the destination at 10:30 am. No sooner, we settled within the spot, our boss Mr. Biswajit Singh yelled both the team to report to the ground nearby. While Souvik Mukherjee remained the non-playing captain and umpired the entire session of play, Biswajit Singh captained the side. The match had a nail-biting finish with the team captained by Biswajit Singh emerging as the winners.

Post match session was followed by snacks, drinks and merriment. The employees danced to peppy numbers and certainly, the SBR-ians were all draped in the happy colors. All the employees savored the sumptuous dishes at lunch, followed by a little bit of comedy gimmick to which the employees joined voices.

The bus left the spot at 5:30 am and by the time the SBR-ians boarded off, 19th November had already etched a special mark on each employee’s heart. The eagerly awaited carnival had ended and the countdown for the next year’s milieu commenced…
